Description

KPV is a tripeptide consisting of the amino acid sequence lysine-proline-valine, derived from the C-terminal region of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (alpha-MSH). This naturally occurring peptide fragment has attracted significant research interest due to its observed bioactivity in studies examining inflammatory signaling pathways, mucosal immunology, and innate immune cell modulation.
